I'm looking for a modern apartment building somewhere in the loop with a nice gym in the building. Needs to have eliptical machines and at least 10 weight machines. The apartments I have seen online have just a couple cardio machines or don't list details. Looking for around 1500$ a month for 1 bedroom. Any ideas?

Try the Tides. It's just north of Grant Park. It has an awesome gym with many machines. Although I think a convertible is like $1600 or so.

I lived in 1 W Superior, which is pricier than you are looking for, but they actually have a seperate weight room and cardio room and an outdoor pool.

Take a look at McClurg Court Apartments in Streeterville. They don't have their own gym, but the Lakeshore Athletic Club is in the same building and residents get a discount. You MAY be able to get in for under 1500 a month including the membership after discount, but it might be pushing it a little bit for a 1BR. The convertible studios there are pretty close to true 1BRs though, so that may be an option to consider.
