What are the most dog-centric neighborhoods?

I mean doggie daycares, spas, shops, parks. You know, where the people who have dogs instead of kids and will spare no expense for their pup live.....

I hear the South Loop is dog crazy in this manner....anywhere else?

And yes, I am one of those 'dog instead of kids' people....

Edgewater is chalk full of dogs. Never seen so many in my life. Even got a beverly jills 90210 spa for em here. Any given day you'll see at least 20 dogs here.

Two cops and one firefighter....they do come in handy. Then there is always 'Uncle Sonny' when things really need 'straightening out'.
