I tried that last year, they were having none of it.
Here they'll suspend your license should you not pay, but I doubt they have any authority in NC to do the same. Particularly when tolls were already paid.

The toll booth has cameras and takes pics of the licsense plates. So you pay end of story.

He paid the toll, he was just inquiring if there's any way out of the additional fine. This being Illinois, I think we all know the answer, but never hurts to try...

OP, out of curiosity, how much is the fine?

I love those toll booths in winter, When snow covers my rear plate and I have no front license plate on my car lol


Sorry, those toll roads are just extra "taxes" on the public :/
