In interesting, somewhat-related news, Orlando's airport was apparently closed for a while today because of "Dead rat stench". Midway, O'Hare, and Gary are a lot of things, but rat-infested is luckily not one of those things.

I actually haven't seen any rats, but those rat posters scare the crap out of me. Big ass razor teeth and blood red snarling mouth. Seriously, after that, I don't think I'd be as scared of the real thing.

When I see those rat posters I think its a city government thing trying to catch corrupt city employees taking bribes! I swear!
And sometimes I think its gangbangers trying to catch snitched too!
never actual rats.

I've seen so many rats that I'm immune to them (there used to be 3 million of them--one for each person). I can't count how many times I've been on a walk and seen a rat scurry across the sidewalk from one grassy area to another (almost always at night). But I've never met an aggressive rat. Remember: They're more afraid of you than you are of them. You'll be fine.
