Whatever happened to that guy on here who kept complaining about how it doesn't snow in Chicago anymore?

I think after this storm this is going to be close to the top snowiest winters in the past 25 years.

Totally. I was feeling sorry for myself, but at least I was warm and had a seat for my long bus ride.

About 8-9 inches in far western burbs here. Fox valley. Main roads good. Getting out of our local streets, not so good. They kept plowing but just could not keep up with it. got out but it was tricky. Lots of blowing and drifting.

Stopped snowing here around noon or so.

The kids are going to have a blast when we go sledding though! Can't wait for that. woo-hoo!

Head over to the Campton Hills Forest Preserve on 64 and Town Hall Rd, just west of Wasco. Nice big hills to sled on back in there. It can get crowded though, just arrive early.
