The city has changed a lot since 2007, but because changes take place pretty slow, we get used to it and forget the way that things used to be.
These photos show before and after views of the Chicago streets, the biggest shock for me was the River North one, 3 new and super tall office buildings in just 7 years, that's gotta be some kind of a record.
