Take her to Bin on Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park. It's the little cousin of the Bin 36 wine bar downtown, but is more casual with cheaper prices. It's quiet enough for a date, has a lot of "small plates" that can be shared, and you can't beat the wine.

Irazu is also just awesome--though it might scare an unadventurous diner. Maybe a second date there if things go well?

There's a nice Italian place on Chicago Avenue that's quiet and intimate... I can't seem to remember the name. I remember that's it's on a second floor and it's a bit pricey for Italian, but certainly not four star dining or anything like that.

Also, Enoteca Roma is another nice wine bar on Division Street, but I prefer to go there in the Summer to enjoy their patio. They recently raised their prices and dropped a bunch of the menu, so it's not as good any more (Bin is superior and close by). Another great wine bar is the Tasting Room near Randolph and Ogden, but the prices are also higher there now too. But if you go upstairs it is more quiet and there are some great views of the city.
