That always sucks when you are out and the weather changes so much like that.

Well, in about 6 weeks we will be out of the clear for the most part. I love March!

What is with the skirts today?

Ill agree with everyone here. Ive never seen such a thing before. Words cant describe how insane it was at times last night. WOW.

** on a side note, I started a weather thread on the IL main board so we can talk about weather whenever we want w/o hijacking threads or creating tons of smaller threads **

Tom Skilling said we get a huge drop in temps like that about once every 25 years.

Heh. I have on a skirt, too. Add the thick winter tights and long boots and I stayed warmer than I did last week on that horrible mile-walk (wearing pants).

Its the first Ive experienced in my 30 years here. It was a neat experience for me, I love extreme weather, makes you realize that youre small and alive.

I got to drive in the thick of it - 8:30 pm

Totally wild driving down Western Avenue. You could only see like a block ahead of you, even the traffic lights were swallowed up in the snow.

Kudos to Ev. Park though - their stretch of 95th was saltier than a box of fries from McDonalds.

They were on sale...it was a really good sale! LOL

Speaking skirts, when I was walking out of the store yesterday, there was this woman in a black, very floaty skirt, maybe mid-thigh length, and all could think was "one more wind gust, and she's gonna have an indecent exposure!"
