Living in Lakeview, I see 95% white people. Where do I live to see a multicultural part of Chicago? River North/Gold Coast/Streeterville?

LOL - no. Downtown can be multi cultural in a way, sometimes, because you have a lot of people visiting, plus there are actually a number of Indians and Asians living downtown and people will just kind of come for food/drinks. But that pales in comparison to areas like West Rogers Park, Albany Park, parts of Uptown and Edgewater, parts of Hyde Park, etc. Avondale maybe in some parts and a few other areas up north like Rogers Park and North Park. If you're just looking for any sort of ethnic areas, you could pretty much tack on tons of other areas like Pilsen, Little Village, Chinatown, Gage Park, Humboldt Park, Chicago Lawn, Portage Park/Belmont Central, etc. Tons of areas on the south side and the far north and northwest side.

I just want an area where I don't feel like a minority walking into a bar (I'm Indian).

Also trying to find Indian women my age that grew up here, but I hardly see any in LP/Lakeview.

Well, you can find that downtown to be honest at places. I live in the Gold Coast and there's a lot of Asians and Indians who're out at certain decently nice places all over downtown, even Division Street. Hell, go to Velvet Taco at 3am and you'll see a lot. You can also see that in areas like Wicker Park (there's also a British Indian pub in Wicker Park that surprisingly, actually has pretty good food - my friend from India approved) but not everywhere.

Lakeview and Lincoln Park are pretty white and nightlife wise, a lot of the same stuff all around - you aren't going to find much of that there. You have a much better chance of seeing other Indian people in nightlife downtown and sometimes in Wicker Park. West Loop too I think. If you're just talking about places in general then there's also Devon, which I hope you know is the Little India of Chicago.

And while downtown is fairly white (but still a good amount less than LP/LV), it's still a big hub of activity for the entire city and tourism. There will be people visiting from all over there and people from all over the area will come in to do things like club or just go for a night out. It's a lot less neighborhoody in its nightlife than where you are (but there are still definitely neighborhood esque places around).

Albany Park? It isn't very cosmpolitan, but it has tons of different cultures living together. Feels vaguely like Queens. Not sure if there are lots of bars (I suspect no).

Lakeview/Lincoln Park attract tons of whitebread Midwestern Big 10 frat/sorority types. Definitely not a multicultural feel. Probably downtown is your best bet for what you're looking for.

Your best bet is River North and Streeterville. I would add in River West as well. (This is just as far as a young Asian and Indian population).

To expand on this a little bit for the hell of it, here's some percentage of Asians by census block group downtown (this includes Indians). Would it be difficult to find a one bedroom in those neighborhoods (with parking included) for $1800?

Depends on the building. Some without a question that won't happen. if you didn't need parking, it would be way easier. My place in the Gold Coast is less than $1800/month, but that's not including parking which is going to run you a few hundred extra per month. Your best bet would be either to live in the Loop (not much nightlife around but at least it's not far from areas like River North) or Gold Coast. My building for example has some non-luxury units still available that might fit your budget including parking.

Honest question: Most of the indian people I've ever seen in LP are pretty assimilated. However, what's the perception of minorities in those neighborhoods?

I don't know if it was bad luck, but I had a derogatory comment thrown at me the first time I visited Chicago near Wrigleyfield after a game, albeit everyone on the whole street was completely drunk. I was a passenger in a car, and some guy whistled and said taxi and a couple guys started laughing. Pissed me off because I couldn't do anything about it.
