That's cool. Which beach? When?

Also, anyone here an avid diver of the Great Lakes?

Montrose Beach since it is closest to my house, most nice weekdays that I don't have clinical or class. Hoping to get on a boat this year too

We have already been swimming at Montrose beach on the occasional day that has been warm and sunny. I must say the water was perfect, I was surprised how pleasantly not-very-cold it was.

Already been to Hollywood, Montrose, North Ave, and Oak Street. Haven't gone in the water more than ankle deep though. That'll probably change soon.

Definitely not going to be a long swim. I'll probably jump in from a walkway someplace like Montrose Beach, scream, and quickly climb the ladder out of the water. That's what I did Memorial Day Weekend last year anyway.

Truth be told, I haven't actually swam in the lake since we had that one record busting spring/summer back in 2012(?) when it was like 80 every day in March. Because of that, late June and July had awesome water temps - something like 73 degrees or so.

I remember that summer. I spent the 4th of July on the beach by Loyola watching fireworks, and I was waist high in the water drinking a margarita out of a water bottle.
