Criminals own available guns obtained through burglaries, straw purchases or lies. Fewer assault weapons owned by law-abiding citizens means fewer assault weapons find their way into the hands of criminals or (as in the case in Sandy Hook) the insane.

Remember, the VA Tech shootings were the result of bad implementation of present laws. The president is now poised to order more efficient enforcement efforts.

And the NRA and its minions say this is the end of the world.

Reading about the law that just passed in New York made my stomach turn.
This is funny because almost everyone thing you despise about the people you despise could be said about gun nuts that blindly support relaxed gun laws and follow the NRA like "stupid sheep", LOL.

Like others have said, its about limiting the flow of guns from "legal" owners to criminals.

The law in New York is the first intelligent step in a long time, with more to follow...

All this stuff is just an assault on the freedom of normal people. All these new regualtions don't mean anything. Just look at drugs. I honestly am shocked at how naive grown men and women are.

I would be surprised if you have more than two or three brain cells.

Hey, since murderers are going to murder anyway, let's just legalize it.

I see that you revert to childish insults when you lose the ability to argue... I think that reveals more about the amount of brain cells you retain, than anything about anyone you are trying to insult.

You call it an insult. I call it an observation. I guess we just perceive things differently.

The first Amendment if the NRA has their way.

“Guns don’t kill people. Video games, the media and Obama’s budget kill people,” -NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre
