I have to be in Pilsen tomorrow around noon – specifically on 18th near Ashland. Are there parking lots around? If not, will street parking be difficult? (Can’t take the el due to several reasons.) I have not been in this area in over 10 yrs.

Thanks.

You shouldn't have much difficulty finding street parking on either 18th or Ashland, but you'll have to plug a meter. I think it's only 25c per hour in that area but I also think it's 2-hour max. If you intend to stay longer, you may have to run out and re-plug it. You might also try your hand at parking on a residential side street, but that's a pretty tightly packed area, plus with the train station right there, there might be parking restrictions (residential only).

It's not a resident-only parking area and it's not impossible to find a spot. But you might have to walk a little bit.

OP could still be driving around looking for parking! I mean, it's only been 17 months
