Employment scam or job scam comes in different styles and forms with the sole purpose of ripping off gullible jobseekers. Employment scam is perpetrated at every turning and corner in the internet, even in very legitimate employment websites like Timesjobs or Monster we still find career scams, work at home scams, pyramid schemes, reshipping scam etc. Nowhere is really safe from these scammers. So the big question is:

“How do I tell if an employment or job offer is scam?”

Ok… you can tell an employment maybe scam if:
The job offer came as unsolicited email.
The surpposed company does not own a website.
The employer is using a free email service like yahoo or hotmail.
The employer wants you to pay an advance fee under the guise of admin charges, work and residential permits, airfare, courier,”to join” etc.
The employer requests for detailed personal information like a duplicate copy of your Social Security Number Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Bank Account details etc.
