I had a hot date with a nice thick NY strip steak last night that I wasn't gonna break, and god forbid I cook it inside, that would be sacreligious!
The steak was worth sweating a little, the only thing that would have made it better would have been a frosty cold beer.
Me too, I grill year round. What happened to the beer though?

Absolutely! Saying it's too hot/cold to grill is like saying it's too wet to swim

We're celebrating the 4th this Saturday (it sucks when the 4th falls on a Wednesday) but I cut a few chunks off a whole sirloin and tossed those on the grill with some vegetables.

The only problem I had was keeping all the bottle rocket sticks from landing on the grill.

Felt like I should dial it back a bit, before my liver files for divorce, so I'm abstaining this week.

That spread looks tasty, and what a presentation! Why wasn't I invited? We're practically neighbors!!

I was on the wagon for a few days. Believe me, I wasn't happy about it, but I'd punched my card by being a little overindulgent the previous week.

Enjoying a frosty brew now. Never tasted sweeter!

And the longer that level of heat goes on, the more completely heated up the concrete and asphalt become, so that it doesn't cool down at night. Walking out into the dark night and still having it be in the mid to upper 90s is SO awful.

Anyway, so this is no fun, but with luck it's relatively short-lived.

And I bet you that NOONE in Austin would post that it is too hot to BBQ.
