Happy Pride Chicago! Attendance count this year I heard at the parade was 850,000. Thoughts on the new route? Good, bad, both? As always, good times!

If the intent of adding a few extra blocks to the route was to spread the crowd thinner, it was barely a drop in the bucket. They'd have to add a few miles to have any noticeable impact. Maybe they can use the same route as the marathon next year.

The intent was not to trap a segment of the neighborhood

I can't believe how big this parade has become.

It is great that things were much better during the parade. It is a shame that there were issues overnight.
