I'm moving to the city of Chicago proper in about a month. I enjoy crafting things in my spare time, anywhere from woodworking, small electronics and soldering, metal working, fiberglass, etc. I like making models, props, toys, you name it.

I've been searching online for any type of hourly workshop rentals and such available in the city and I've come up empty. I'm using my parents' garage as a work space right now and I'd hate to give up my hobby once I move. I don't need anything more than an hourly rental situation. This isn't my job, just a hobby in the evenings and weekends.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for finding someplace to intermittently work with tools?
