I had the fastest DSL package they offered and I could never get any better than 360p from Netflix nor could I watch anything above that on Youtube without buffering until I finally convinced them that I was, in fact, within their U-Verse coverage area. The conversation usually went something like this:

"You're not in our coverage area."

"But I'm literally standing on my front steps looking down the street at a VRAD box less than 200 feet away."

"But your address isn't in our coverage database."

"OK, my next-door neighbor has it. So does the person next to him."

"But your address isn't in our coverage database."

"Fine, add it to your coverage database and send an install tech out here."

I should have kept my mouth shut - after posting that I had horrible problems trying to stream Netflix last night!

But it's possible that as I'm watching on a laptop I just don't notice the resolution quality, not having cable I have pretty low standards - as long as it doesn't cut out I'm generally pretty happy.
