Sounds like a standard Great Lakes accent with a slight Hispanic tinge to me. Others are picking up Eastern European -- combine the two and maybe you get Romanian?

It would be nice if the OP can find out the answer to see who is right.

to those who hear a slavic accent, i understand where you are coming from....but don't some of those pronounciations also occur in Boston english?

Its the way he says "to". That's where I pick up on russian or slavic language. Not east coast. He is from Chicago area because he has a slight d in other words where it should be t. (like in da bulls, da bears, etc.)

The guy is definitely not from Russia or that area. I can't tell as the accent is not that heavy; he speaks pretty clear English. But I know for a fact that this is not Russian and I don't hear any slavic accent and I heard that for most of my life. I would bet 100 bucks he has nothing to do with Eastern Europe.

I disagree Mo. I studied Russian in college and we have a lot of Poles in Chicago and I think there is a very slight slavic accent in there.

I don't know, Knitgirl, I could be wrong. But in Trieste, Italy where I am from and lived for 32 years, we are right on the border with former Jugoslavia and it's packed with people from Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, and all the eastern eurpoean countries. One of my best friend here in SoFla is from Ukraina and you can tell where he's from as soon as he says hi.
I just did not sense any eastern european accent in the video, but again, I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time...

What does he look like to you? I think he looks european....maybe a little tan, but his features look Euro-white (maybe Italian, or even just a tanned Frenchman, Pole or German) and not Arab/Israeli or Hindu or Mexican/Metizzo......he might be latino, but more of european descent....like from Argentina or Chile rather than Metizzo-heavy Mexico or Guatelama.

Even some Cubans and Ricans look like plain-jane wonderbread whites...the boy from malcolm in the middle was Cuban i beleive.
