Well, good luck. High schools that offer housing do exist (they're called boarding schools) and they are fairly common in New England but not in Chicago. Lookup Exeter Academy, Milton Academy, and Choate, just to name a few. I don't know any in or near Chicago. They tend to be very expensive, probably $30000 or more including tuition, housing, food, etc.

Well there's Illinos Math and Science Academy, but I doubt you'd be eligible as a resident of India. Other than that I'm not aware of any. Try googling "boarding schools Chicago".

I googled it myself. There are a few: Lake Forest Academy, Benet Academy, Woodlands Academy.

Not really in the mood to do your research for you. Google "high school student visa". If you come here learn to use Google, also improve your English. As for costs expect about $30,000-$40,000 a year and you will not be allowed to work.

So you have the cash? America and its housing welcomes you. Expect about $900-1000/month living alone at a minimum. If you can get a roommate maybe less. Search Craigslist for roommate listings.

Perhaps not in the city, but Lake Forest Academy is a boarding school. It seems to be the only one in the Chicago area though.
