Kingston Mines? Buddy Guys Legend? I've been to both and I have to say Kingston Mines blew me away every time and I found myself leaving at 4am every time I've been there. I'm looking to hit up a new place when I visit in March so if you have any ideas let me know!

The best blues club in Chicago is a place that most people have never heard of. You would have to know someone that knows the place and that will escort you there.

See if you can catch Eric "Guitar" Davis when you come to town. I saw him at the Checkerboard and also at Kingston Mines.

I second Rosa's and I recommend Lee's Unleaded Blues | Chicago's favorite juke joint (http://www.leesunleadedblues.com/?page_id=22 - broken link) , but you will need a car and need to be OK with driving on the South Side.

already saw Mr. Davis at Kingston Mines... he was fantastic. He'll actually be there again the week I'm going (Mar 6)
