Try Helix Camera on Racine ....possibly the Ritz 'superstore' on Clybourn ... would call ahead to both places ...

or wolf camerea(varous locations same company as ritz). I think I got the same battery for a differnt cool pix camera from wolf but that was 3 years ago and the location was in the burbs.

Well, normally I would keep it to myself, but in the spirit of Christmas I'll let you in on my secret discovery. There's this little electronics store I found called, what was it now...? Oh yeah, Best Buy. Just drive around until you see a large concrete box with a giant blue and yellow facade. If the building is all blue, you're at Ikea. No camera batteries, but great home furnishings.

I'd just order it from B&H Photo in New York.

Don't buy the aftermarket battery, get the actual Nikon product. The aftermarket might be OK but on the other hand, it might not last anywhere near what you'd expect.

I have had a D80 for almost three years. I bought two extra batteries on eBay right after I got my camera. I rotate the stock battery with the two eBay batteries and three years down the road they all keep the same charge. Anybody with a camera should get TWO extra batteries. One in the camera, one in the bag and one at home.
