Mods, can we make this a sticky? Other state forums have sticky threads with photos pertaining to the region... seems like a good idea.

Fuzz, GREAT images!!! What kind of equipment do you use? I love that selective coloring on the Flamingo. Works well! Ive got a crap camera right now (4MP Kodak EasyShare Z700), am looking to get the Rebel XTi, something SLR, maybe a 20D.

Here are some of my Chicago shots:

Steve, LOVE those last 5 shots with the sepia tone!

All the shots I posted (except for the first one) were taken on a Nikon D50 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens. The first one was a Nikon Coolpix 5700. Don't really pay attention to megapixels, so don't really know.

Unfortunately, I moved away from Chicago just as I was getting more into photography -- Chicago is truly a great city for photography -- it offers a lot of open spaces to get great vistas. We go back every few months to visit family, and I always try to make some photographic excursions.

Thanks!

Nikon rocks. I wouldnt mind a D70 myself. Now if I could just discipline myself to actually, ya know, save money.

I see youre in Colorado, awesome. I love CO. I was just in Estes Park last year again, Im a sucker for the Rockies. And CO is just as photographic as Chicago, probably more.

You both have excellent photos!
I used to be really into photography and even went to a photography summer program. I have really lost touch with it - which is unfortunate because as both of you have shown, Chicago is such a beautiful city.
