Any suggestions for a neighborhood bar frequented by firefighters? New to Mount Greenwood......found a great gym, shopping; but, not sure of the bar-scene. Thanks!!

It never ceases to amaze me how many women seek out firefighters and policemen. And, I think we've seen a few threads on this same question.

Howver, to address your question: have you tried Cork and Kerry's on 106th and Western?

Your best bet would probably be to check out the bars along the Western Ave. strip. I think if you look beyond that, there are some in the southwest suburbs that may also be decent, but I'm no expert on the southwest suburbs. There may also be some possibilities in Garfield Ridge and Clearing, west of Midway Airport.

I'll turn this thread over to others who would be far more knowledgeable on such areas....
