Hello, hello... long time listener, first time caller.

Here is my question: I currently work a good job in furthest southeast suburb of Chicago but I am wanting to move to the city as Indiana can be somewhat stale at times. There are many other reason why I want to move but I won't get into them because they really have no effect on my question... How do able is a reverse commute from the city to Northwest Indiana?
Any recommended neighborhoods to live in? Public transit is pretty much out of the question as my job isn't anywhere near a train station and the scheduling isn't ideal at all. I am fine with a longer commute, I just am curious how traffic is going south at around 6:30-6:45am down 90.

Thanks in advance,

-Adam

It depends on where you live in the city and what expressways or tollways you take. I am sure there is a thread here somewhere that covers this pretty much already.

Not to sound offensive, but of course it depends on the route I take/neighborhood I live in... that is why I am asking. And I did a few searches but only found people reverse commuting to the western burbs. Do you have a link to thread I could scour?
