I am just wondering if anyone can give me any feedback on 19th Street/61st Court in Oak Brook, Il. I am a single, 25 year old girl and am relocating to the Chicago area for my job. Any help would be appreciated because I am trying to find a reasonably priced area by the 19th of April. Thank you!

I dont spend too much time in Oak Brook, but I can tell you now that its a horribly expensive town, most neighborhoods in that town are gated if that gives you an idea. When I think of Oak Brook I think of CEO's, diplomats, etc. There is the largest outdoor mall in the states and lots of nice shopping/dining, but the overall theme behind the town is $$$$$$$.

Check Lombard, by the Yorktown mall area. Finley/Highland/Butterfield.
Many apartments and more affordable.
