I was just in the area looking for houses in your price range. There are many available towns surrounding Downers Grove, as DG is quite pricey, but neighboring Bolingbrook, Woodridge, Romeoville, and a little further in Crest Hill, you can find a decent priced home in the range you're looking for (around $180K).
