Hi everyone,
We are considering relocating and renting our property for a little while to keep our options open.
We have a 2 bed 2 bathrooms, 1000 sq ft in a vintage yellow birck building in southeast Evanston 1 block from the lake, 3 blocks from Main st. metra and el station. Most of the appartement has southern exposure and we have a window ac for living/dining area.
It is been entirely redone: brand new kitchen (3 month old) with professional appliances, in unit washing machine, eco friendly countertop, slate floors, refinished dark hardwood floor, new paint throught out, refinished windows, new master bath with vessel sink. It has laundry in the building, a bike storage, a workshop open for all DYi projects and parking is always easy and available accros the building.

Where do you think I can find the rental value of my place?
I tried craigslist but there is not much comparable places.. rentals tend less nice place, with old kitchens, and very few 2 bed 2 bath in our area...

^^Thats probably a bit low.

How long do you have to get it rented? I would take great pictures put it on Craigslist for $1800 and see if you get any interest.

After 3 weeks, lower it.
