My friends and I used to hike around the railroad tracks and creek way back as kids in this location, and one time we came across a clearing with a building, a bunch of wood chips and junked automobiles. I've always wondered what it was.

I can't figure out if/how to post images or links, so the coordinates in Google Maps are 42.075509, -87.901357

Thank you

According to the Cook County GIS parcel viewer, it's Roy's Tree Service.

Thank you - I thought they were closer to Kensington and River but maybe that's their mill or something.

I remember that. If you look on the east side, you will see Morrison Avenue. It used to cross over the track into Roy's. When Metra double-tracked the line, c. 2005, it eliminated the crossing and built a road to Kensington.
