If not in Elmhurst, you can work in Oak Brook mall which is just 5 minutes south of elmhurst. There are buses that run from Elmhurst to the mall. There are many many stores there.

You could contact the mayors office (Marcucci) and tell them you need temp work. Or chamber of commerce. ( Chicago area people LOVE the irish and Irish brogues.
) There are also nice stores and restaraunts right in Elmhurst.

Il have finished studying a law degree so it would be great to get any kind of work experience in this area. However I will pretty much do anything and Im 22 so bar tending etc will not be an issue.
