I have not gone out drinking in ten years in my twenties I frequented bars and clubs like hip hop clubs.

I read that millennials do not go out they rather stay in with friends. Is the club scene still going on in Chicago ?

I wonder statistically if the amount of people has gone down over the past 15 years who go to dance clubs and bars ?

Do clubs feed on a certain age that party for couple years and then a new group cones through.

From the outside looking in it looks to me like the millennial generation might be more responsible when it comes to wasting money at bars and clubs.

ha --- the craft beer and craft distillery scene are on fire right now... millennial generation greatly enjoys bars/clubs but has higher appreciation for quality IMO...

I guess I missed the craft beer bandwagon i am almost forty I think most of those beers taste like crap to bitter to many hops. To many choices to get wrong one. Better of with blue moon or red stripe.

There's a million different types of craft beers so your probably referring to IPA's or Pale Ale's. That hardly describes all craft beers. We all have our preferences but I wouldn't write off the entire craft beer scene. Also blue moon while mass produced I think many quasi beer drinkers may still consider it a craft beer

Agree, skip the IPA or Pale Ale's OP. Those are very hoppy (bitter). They are an acquired taste.

Many craft beer places sort the beers by style. Try some of the these styles > If you like Blue Moon, try a Hefeweizen or Belgian White (Witbier). Since you like Red Stripe, you'd probably also like a Pilsner (Pils), Kolsch or Dortmunder.
