Was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Kinloch subdivision in Naperville. Looked at some houses there, both resale and new construction -- seems nice. Wanted to see if anyone had experience with this area.

Any comments are appreciated.

Kinloch is a nice subdivison not too far from town. Everything is relative of course. Nice new & newer homes, and more affordable to buy a comparable home there as opposed to "in-town" for the same type of home. You'll get a pretty good bang for your buck there.

Depending on the price point however - if you're over $1M then you'd be better served to be in-town, just from a resale perspective. But understand you won't get the same size lot "in-town" so you'll have to weigh what's more important to you. In real estate as in life, there's always a trade-off.

Oh also, Kinloch attends School Dist 204 - Neuqua Valley HS vs "in-town" School Dist 203. All the schools are great but Dist 204 is taxed at a higher rate, and will be adding a third HS shortly, where as 203 is pretty stable and built out and does not anticipate any further growth. Just some things to consider.

Good Luck to you.
