Wondering if anyone knows if there is all day kindergarten in the public schools in Schaumburg or Buffalo Grove area. Also, any thoughts on good day care and before & after school programs in those same areas. Thanks!

contact the park district and the YMCA-- both typically offer before school and after school programs.

I know the Kinder Care off of Schaumburg Rd & just east of Meacham Rd. offers all day care as we have friends who work in the area & are very happy w/ the facility.

We live in Schaumburg but our kids go to a home day care along w/ preschool at Prince of Peace right off of Higgins.

I do not think there are all day Kindergartens yet... you'd have to check with the school district.

Some schools also have "partnerships" [so to speak] with day cares, that have before and after school care for working parents.

Also are the in home daycares a little more affordable then the centers. Just wondering we use in home care in Iowa because they are cheaper.

I think Lincoln Prairie (schaumburg school dist #54) still offers all day kindergarten. You have to apply for it, though, and I don't know how easy it is to get in. You can look on the website sd54.org.
