Zion being rough!?! LOL! Take a trip to Harvey or Maywood then tell us that Zion is comparably even nearly rough.

I am not sure what you consider cheap or why you need to live somewhere. You might want to investigate Berwyn, which has a large Hispanic population but is much nicer and better located than the suburbs you mention. If you look carefully you can pick up property at fairly low prices although they have been rising as of late.

Schools are often bad? I don't think applies to frankfort or even orland.

Property values are increasing in frankfort

Frankfort is like the hinsdale of the southwest. Schools are excellent and comparable to some western suburbs schools. It's growing, businesses coming and new home construction has picked up a lot if steam.

I don't think he meant the school comment to apply to Frankfort. Frankfort is a nice area, but the property taxes are insanely high. So high that we crossed it off our list considering its proximity to the South burbs and possible downfall in the future. Comparing it to Hinsdale is a real stretch.

The demographics and household incomes of frankfort make it highly unlikely that there is a concern for a potential downfall. It's more southwest and not really a south suburb like cal city, Lansing, south holland etc etc. im not calling it the hinsdale of the southwest that's what it's generally referred to as here. Property taxes are comparable to all of will county but yes they are high.
