I'm not selling, so I don't know first hand, but have friends that are/have sold/bought in Naperville recently, they tell me the market is definitely not terrible, it is actually pretty hot.

The market has tons of properties for $200k in just about every part of IL. You should be able to find a home no problem. You will have better luck in Sugar Grove/Elburn than Naperville though. If you are looking in Sugar Grove check out Yorkville, Plano, and Oswego as well. If you want "country" but still close to a populated area I would recommend Shorewood or even parts of Joliet.

For single family homes you should be able to find a place and for townhomes/condos you definitely should find a place. If you are considering renting, be quick because they are getting eaten up quick!

I would also say if you want to be near Naperville look at Lisle, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Woodridge, and even Wheaton.

If you need a realtor I work for a real estate firm and can recommend someone to you. Don't hesitate to message me.
