Just graduated and moved to Naperville for my first job. I am a beginning golfer and would really like to find a good place to take 4 or 5 lessons. Does anyone have a course or place they would recommend. I am on a bit of a budget ....golf is expensive. Thanks.

Most of hte golf clubs around here have pros who give lessons. I actually took some lessons at bolingbrook country club off webber. Group lessons will be cheaper than individual. THere's also a few indoor facilities here who give lessons, film your swing, etc. Checkout groupon, living social, etc sites like that and they normally have deals for a few golf lessons for cheap like 50% off.

Taking a lesson or two wouldn't be bad to understand some fundamentals of your swing and what not hwoever I would say your money would be better spent hitting some balls at the driving range, playing some rounds, etc. I really like Tamarac golf course off rt 59. In the summer it's normally $25 for 18 and a cart after 1 in the afternoon.

Thank you doodlemagic! I will check out groupon for discounts. I was thinking a couple of lessons and then hit the driving ranges.
