Hello all, I may have a job offer in Rosemont, IL. I would prefer living in or near Schaumburg. Mapquest says the distance is about 30 minutes, would traffic be an issue commuting from the Schaumburg area to Rosemont? My work would be right near O'Hare.
Also what are some safe and clean apartments in the Schaumburg area?
I'm willing to commute within about 30 minutes for work.
Thanks!

I should mention $800. would be my MAX for rent on a 1 bed, 1 bath. Is that possible for Schaumburg?

You can get a 1 br for that but probably not a great one that has tennis and swim. As for the commute, that is about right. As long as you are not going into Chicago any further, it should not be too awful.

I'm really just looking for a simple apartment. The top of my list is safety but still affordable and close to Schaumburg (if I can't be IN Schaumburg).
I can do without the tennis court, swimming pool, ...
