I am looking for Palatine (preferably) or other surrounding areas Schaumburg or Lake Zurich for preschools that will be willing to take a December born in the same year as an August born.
I have tried a number of schools and all have a Sept 1st cut off.
Schaumburg Christian School has a Nov 1st.

Appreciate any info on schools willing to take Dec born.

Why wouldn't they? Or are you trying to keep them in the same grade?

Ah that makes sense.

Actually, that's a little like what happened to my brother and I when we started school. We were two years apart but thanks to the school cutoff dates (we moved in-between when my brother and I each started school), we were always three grades apart! I was always the youngest in class, usually by quite a bit, and my brother was always the oldest. It didn't matter in the end, of course, but for awhile I used to worry I'd be held back a grade because I was too young for Illinois schools.

If you are interested in considering a Montessori preschool, they have mixed age classrooms. Primary classrooms are generally ages 3-6. Just a thought! Good luck!

I did inquire Montessori schools around the area, however for the school year they too had a Sept 1st cut off. She turned 3 a couple of months ago, want to have her in Pre K coming fall..
