Hello,

I am new to the Chicago area and will be working downtown. Do any of you commute from Deerfield to north State street in Downtown? Which metra do you take and what station do you get off on?

MD-N to Union, it's an 8 block walk or a 10 minute bus ride east.

Assuming of course that Deerfield Metra is the closest one to you, it may not be.

Lake-Cook Rd is the best station for parking. Depending when you get off, you may be able to ride the express, no stops between Western and Lake-Cook.
