I am moving to Aurora in 2012. Love the place and been there like 2 times now. Since it in winter and also summer. Been in goverment services in Singapore for almost 2 decade thus intend to see something new. Looking for job in Counselling, Logistics or Small businness for the Indian Community in Illinois. Being a strong Hindu since young and love to serve the Indian community. Been to Balaji temple in Aurora. Simple and marvelous. If anyone have good idea and feedback I will be glad to hear. Please share. Thanks

Since Aurora is a suburb of Chicago, you might get more responses in the Chicago suburbs forum.

Aurora is nice there's also a giant hindu temple in lemont as well.

As for Aurora, I beliecve the hindu temple your talking about is near north aurora. you may want to be out near like orchard and illinois streets, thats a pretty nice area, your close to 88, not far from the train station, adn near the temple.

If you like more of a city feel downtown aurora is getting nicer, tehre's some pretty nice lofts and apartments down there as well as a lot of new restaurants and bars.

Your talking about the Temple on Sullivan. How was it? Are the people friendly and whatre the dates and times? I have decided to go back to my old haits and routines because it just feels more natural to me. The whole Christian thing is cool but not me. Tell me about your experience there?
Thanks

I think you will like Aurora, IL...There are lots of Indians and some good Indian restaurants not too far away as well. I'm not Indian so can't comment on the temple on Sullivan, but have Indian friends and I believe they like it here, too.
