There's already meth in Chicago. People tend to prefer cocaine and heroin when they have a choice in the marketplace. The reason that you see meth more in rural areas is that they don't have the highly developed drug distribution network to bring the cocaine and heroin in, which are usually considered preferable alternatives, believe it or not.
