Rental Salon or Suites Space In Naperville/Aurora? (Chicago, Bolingbrook: salons, leasing)

My fiance is an experienced hairstylist and rather than going to another salon is thinking of starting her own. But the costs of a full fledged store front are proving too high. This area is very expensive, as if I didn't already know that..

so, does anyone know if there are smaller rental salons or 'suites' a stylist can rent month to month, for instance? Could also be in Downers or Willowbrook.

Good choice on looking for a rental rather than opening a business, not the best economy and though I know hair is the last thing my sister or gf would cut back on some people are cutting back.

Upscale type haircut places are a dime a dozen in Naperville so it is a tough business, I know several women hwo opened there own salons and already had a following from places thy previously worked for and our still struggling.

There's a place next to bar louie on Chicago Street and Washington in downtown naperville that sounds like exactly what your looking for. I havn't been there but have some gf's who hvae and i guess they have a waiting room but each stylist has their own littel room or area thats just there's. Not sure what its called but its right where I mentioned under the comedy club in that strip mall

there is a place in aurora, on the west side on galena blvd. It is near the aldi. Headz Up. I think they rent out the spaces. It is not a high end salon though.

Thanks for the suggestions...She ended up leasing a suite from a place in downtown Naperville called salon suites.
I went with her to see it - very nice ...its funny becuase I drive by the shopping center they are in, all the time, but never noticed... Salon Rental | Booth Rental | Salon Suites - Naperville

I see that the OP's fiancee found a place, but if other people are looking, there's a suite of salons at Washington and 87th in Naperville. My daughter gets her hair cut there; it seems like a nice place.

There is also a place in Wheaton called the Wesley Suites that is full of hair and makeup artists. You rent a little room like thing but its enclosed and has a door.

There are also individual beauty suites at 311 N. 2nd Street in St. Charles, IL.
