Who gives a crap? It's a Cadillac. What kind of idiot would buy a Cadillac over any other REAL luxury brand?
Cadillac defines luxury... always has. I hope your reference isn't Bentley or Rolls Royce because those are the most over priced, over engineered most difficult to maintain machines I have ever come across... we have a few vintage resto'ed ones in the family and I worked at an exclusive shop for them.
As for the V.... incredible machine. Wish I had the cash for one.

You have already established that point by indicating you don't even know what performance is.... Maybe you should stop buying vehicles just for the name.

All that matters to me is they drive well and look good. Souped up Caddy is a laugh.

I really appreciate that you favor BMW as they build some of the best cars hands down. Just sad that you do not favor BMW because of their fantastic performance, which they certainly have.
How a car drives is one of your important metrics? The CTS-V is a very good driving machine, handles well and it is engineered and built pretty good. Besides the looks (sorry to whom it may appeal) it is very competitive to the German brands.
Let me tell you that I am really irritated by the fact that I see threads in this forum, in which americans moan about badly engineered american cars... and are *blind* when they come across a decent car with an american badge.
ZipZap
Btw... I currently drive BMW, but wouldn't mind to park a CTS-V next to it
