It was $128,000 back in 2006 when thy discontinued them, the Hummer H1.
Tight. It's going to be interesting to see how this new Hummer does against the Mercedes G-Class, Lexus LX, and Range Rover.

Nice. Never much into trucks, especially the full-sized ones. Camaro instead of a corvette for me though--but an electric one where the frunk is stupid large and I can go camping in it.

I just got a new 2021 Camaro after i had to lemon law my new 2019 C7. Same engine and it runs 10 times better and faster.
Probably not? I do think the use of CGI in marketing materials, especially of the vehicle itself though not necessarily the backgrounds should always come with prominent disclaimers.
I also think the accusations are a little bit wild especially the whole thing about taking a page out of Nikola's playbook. For one thing, Nikola was actively hiding that it did not have a functional vehicle and was proclaiming it did while GM has explicitly mentioned on its own that it does not have a working prototype. Also, the talk about difficulty in ramping up to making an EV is true and Tesla had a hell of a time, but the fact is GM has mass produced vehicles before (unlike Tesla when it first started and unlike Nikola ever), and more specifically, has mass produced electric vehicles before as you can see with the Bolt. GM has actually has factories. It actually has built vehicles and electric powertrains before. It actually has quite a bit of EV experience outside of the Bolt because it's successfully launched even more EVs in China (Buick Velite 6, Baojun E200, Chevrolet Menlo). Will it make the late 2021 limited production deadline that GM set for itself and some grumbled was way too long in the future? Maybe. However, I don't think it's at all incapable of producing the Hummer EV.
