My brother is at the car dealer and he says on the window sticker it says V4. I could have sworn they had an I4, but I could be wrong. I'd find out myself, but I am in a location with a bad signal, so it would take forever. Thanks!
I can't remember the last car with a V4 off of the top of my head. I can't be arsed to do research either.
Hmm. I think it may have been the Saab 95/96. Pretty sure they still had the V4 in the early 80's, the Ford models that had it I think all died out in the 70's.

The V-4 that Ford of Germany developed for their Taunus model (that is correct, Taunus, NOT Taurus!) was later adopted by Saab as an excellent replacement for their 2-cycle 3-cylinder engine.
There may have been another car with a V-4 after the Saab and the Taunus, but I can't recall one at the moment.
That being said, if the OP's brother insists that the window sticker stated that the Equinox and/or Terrain have a V-4, I think that the OP's brother may have a problem with reading comprehension.
I own a V4 powered vehicle...but it only has two wheels and is made by Honda.
