I have a client who has some 60's Vette parts she wants to sell. If you wanted to buy Vette parts, where would you look first? These are smaller engine and interior parts, based on the short email she sent me.

E-Bay, or Hemmings, but they should be judged for value. Is it a part that came on all Chevrolet's, or is it a Vette specific part to a single year, or generation?

I frequent Corvette C7 - C1 Reviews, Performance, Parts For Sale - CorvetteForum.com for my Corvette fix.

Up side is that it is a dedicated community. Down side is that those guys will sometimes low ball you on offers.

Best bet is to provide as much information as possible and you can never have enough pictures.

Original parts from the 60's can be quite pricey depending on condition, especially interior parts.

Exactly. Most engine parts will be universal to all Chevy engines of the same displacement of that era with just a few exceptions (induction system for a dual quad setup, for instance) so your best bet for those might be something like eBay that will give a lot of universal exposure. Most of the interior parts would be unique to the Corvette, so you might be best off listing those in some kind of Corvette-specific marketplace where they won't get buried beneath a mound of non-'Vette stuff.

Corvette Forum.

Try to find the NCRS website; might be better luck there.

Good info.

So far the only part she has specified is a chrome distributor cover for a 67, but that's all the detail I have.

Small block or big block? These are unique to the 'Vette, they were needed because the fiberglass hood wouldn't cancel radio interference or some such business. This should bring some good money if it's original and in nice shape, going by what repo versions sell for the small block piece should be worth more than the big block.

I ran across similar info when I searched for the part. When she gets back to me, I'll post here and see what input I get from the experts.
