Moving to Chattanooga, TN from Nashville at the end of May. I will be working at the Airport and was wondering what are nice areas near the airport(within 30 miles) that have really good schools(I have an 11 year old son who is going into 7th grade)and things to do in the area. Not into a lot of traffic, but I will be working midnights. Thanks for any info!

A driving distance of 30 miles is a fairly extreme commute for Chattanooga. I know people who drive that far, but I wouldn't call it "near". A 30-mile radius around the airport would include all of Hamilton and Catoosa Counties and large chunks of the surrounding counties, including two counties in Alabama. Did you mean 30 minutes?
Anyway, the brand new East Hamilton Middle/High school is supposed to be very good. Ooltewah High got a bad rap because of overcrowding, but those problems are gone now that EH has opened. Signal Mt. schools are also supposed to be good, but we're back to the "near the airport" issue.
