Hello everyone.
I am coming to South Pittsburg for the annual Cornbread Festival. What would be a good motel to stay at?
Also is it easy to find a place for
rent there? Tell me as much as you can about South, Pittsburg.

There are probably not a whole lot of places to stay there, as the town is so small. It's like maybe a 3 stoplight town. Its claim to fame is the cornbread festival. Honestly we were pretty excited to go when we read about it initially, but one visit was enough for us. It's basically a street festival with a few cornbread related activities, but most vendors just sold italian sausage or ice cream or whatnot. They've got a great concept with a bit of an underwhelming presentation. I'm sure others may disagree, which is fine, this is just our opinion.

Its a quaint little town, don't know about any places to rent though. You'll need to check their local paper for that and ask around. You'll find a few hotel places to stay at the Jasper exit on 24 at the Cracker Barrel exit. Happy Cornbreading!

You can also check Craigslist for any vacation rentals, just be careful with who you are dealing with, watch for scammers. You may end up having to get a hotel closer to Chattanooga, about a 20 - 30 min drive depending on the location.
