I would love to be able to find a safe, modern, chic, and affordable home either in downtown area or Hixson.(Sounds like I am wanting something that might be asking to much for!) Everything I have seen downtown is exactly what I would love to have but they are not for rent and are about $200,000 to buy.(That's the cheapest, I've seen). I was recently surprised at work with divorce papers, that I had not one clue about. Therefore, I am ready to get out of this house and get into a home that I love so I can then start to love the rest of my "new life".. Therefore, any and all suggestions I would appreciate greatly. Thanks in advance.

The fella offering condos in the restored school on McCallie and Central is renting his units. There are marble floors, cool bar area from living room to kitchen (kinda loft feel), nice windows etc... These units are still for sale so you may be moved at some time during your term. Good luck!
