This place has grabbed my attention with it's...well everything it has to offer. However, I could use some insight on the potential job scene for a private music teacher. Can anyone tell me if or where might be a good place to set up shop? That is, where lots of young families live? A great indicator as to whether or not this place would be a great place for me to move would be how crowded the schools are, or if it is the case, how fast new schools are being built to keep up with newcomers. More frankly, are there ample guitar, drum, piano lesson services being provided for children?

I am also open to comments on this issue in regards to beautiful Greenville, Ashville, ...others.

Question Chatt FOLK School

..J ,: WELCOME. This Hamilton county is growing with the mfg employment.... Schools are being built,
maybe not as fast as each parent town wishes..
Bluegrass music has always been a local subject in this region & Thursday , friday night sessions can
be found....The city & northern towns of Hixson , etc have the interest you are asking about. . Recently I heard some of these programs are in transition (?) We can point ya in the right direction.
This Chat FOLK SCHOOL was / is a community was for youth & adults to expand the subject. The new
contact person may be Steve D (?) however here is the LINK Folk School of Chattanooga | Community. Music. Education.
. Chattanooga is also a home base for the mag publication of Dulcimers Players News..... A Hammer
artist by name of Dan Landrum possibly relocated here & does some of the city Aquarium events. (?)
Again if you are a artist to re-locate here , the city did have a $$ artist assistance program... Like jewelry
makers, etc. . We can private message if we can help with any phone ##'s , etc
