I'm looking to relocate my family. Found a house on Windsor Ct. Is this a good area? Let me know!

I looked it up on Google Map; Windsor Court is near Edmondson Pike. I'm not sure myself about the area. It shouldn't be a really bad area . . . but I'm just not that familiar with it.

Default Windsor Ct

The mls listing says that it is in Chattanooga/Brainerd. We aren't familiar with Tennessee at all. We are in FL. It looks to be a home built in the early 1900s.

Well shoot, I almost moved this thread to the Connecticut forum as I did a quick read and thought they were asking about Windsor CT!
Maybe tell folks a little bit more about what kind of info you are looking for about the town area verses one street. You might get some more responses. Wish I could help but I only know a little about that area, but I will move your thread to the Chatt forum and maybe someone there knows of this street. Anyone?

You can NOT have that house on Windsor! I mean it! That's mine! LOL That is just the CUTEST cul-de-sac. I have been watching that area for the past 6 months and it seems that EVERY house on that street is getting renovated and it's just beautiful! I live just down the road from there so we cruise by often. It's a MUST see!

Ok now that I am over my initial excitement here's some data for you. If you have children, the schools are decent. Some in that area are zoned for not-so-good schools so I double checked for ya. It's on a minor thoroughfare linking Brainerd and downtown yet close to the freeway so navigating anywhere from that area is a snap. It's close to Brainerd Rd but has TONS of trees and such to block out any noise. As Windsor Ct is a cul-de-sac you will get very little traffic other than your neighbors. It is bordered by Missionary Ridge and Glendon Place which is a good location for homes and families. On the other side of Brainerd Rd it gets a little iffy but not for a few blocks. I would move my little family there TODAY and that says ALOT. This is one of our hidden gems and you have made a fine discovery.

I drove there when I was looking for a house in the summer. The house is really nice with renovations. I think it's on a hill, and parking is only available on the street. I think. But I love old houses.
